Developmental Disabilities, Academics, Socialization, and Health Services (DASH)

The Developmental Disabilities, Academics, Socialization, and Health Services (DASH) program provides services to students, ages 3-21, who present with severe to profound Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and may have multiple disabling conditions which require nursing care during the school day. The program focuses on communication, social, motor, and daily living skills as well as functional academics.

Each classroom has a licensed Special Education Teacher and a maximum of 6 students per classroom, along with the teacher are Program and Classroom Assistants to support student needs in the classroom. Each classroom is also staffed with a nurse to provide assistance with student-specific medical needs.

DASH at Hastings High School

ISD 200 provides quality, nutritious breakfast and lunch meal options at this location. Hastings Schools participates in the MN Free School Meals Program and all students are eligible for one free breakfast and one free lunch per day.

ISD 194 provides quality, nutritious breakfast and lunch meal options at this location. Lakeville Area Schools participates in the MN Free School Meals Program and all students are eligible for one free breakfast and one free lunch per day.
