Multilingual Learners

Note: In the past, educators have referred to students who are acquiring English language skills as English Learners (EL), English Language Learners (ELL) or English as a Second Language (ESL) students. In the resources we provide, we are shifting our terminology to Multilingual Learners (ML), a term we believe best centers the wealth of knowledge and experience these students bring to school. Please be patient as we work to update documents.
